Some of the rooms also come with a mini bar fridge and microwave.

Excellent value guesthouse.
Excellent value for money. Free shuttle bus from airport. Good value meals offered in the restaurant. The guesthouse is in a gated complex. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed our stay.

This all comes down to pay for what you need. The Emerald Guesthouse us exactly as described. Cheap cheerful accommodation. You can't beat the price. Free on time airport shuttle. Excellent location with a free shuttle !
All the staff were great ! My room was very good, the mattress was nice, hot water for the shower. I noticed there were also some very nice rooms but depending on your budget, I got good value for what I paid. The breakfast was good. I had a layover in Johannesburg arriving late at night and having to leave at 6am in the morning again so I needed a place for a few hours in the night.
