Very friendly and accommodating lady at the reception. We were able to order food quite late at night which was a bonus. Because we left before breakfast we were given a breakfast pack which made the morning easier.

I will definitely stay here whenever I need to be close to OR Tambo airport. You can’t beat it for location and value for money. I had very awkward airport times and the shuttle organisation went above and beyond to accommodate me, even collecting me at 12.30am by special arrangement. Amazing staff who went out of their way. Thank you.

The first stay l was there for business and my room was very nice, but it was very noisy, because they have a social area, we're people can sit right outside the room, the second time l stayed there it was lovely they put me in a room where it was quiet.

The property is conveniently located at a stone throw distance to the airport. The shuttle services to the airport was a bonus!

I had a layover in Johannesburg arriving late at night and having to leave at 6am in the morning again so I needed a place for a few hours in the night. I was worried if it would all work out especially as we landed 2 hours late after midnight but Emerald exceeded my expectations! The driver was super kind, helpful, reliable and responsive. He drove me and another girl back to the airport at 4am and even gave me a breakfast pack. I can full heartedly recommend using this hotel for layovers (I saved 300€ flying from Europe to cape town like this). Super safe for single travellers as well!

Basic accommodation for an overnighter near to the airport. Very good value as it includes breakfast and a shuttle. Evening meal available.

A perfect stay nearby the airport with good breakfast and comfortable bed. It is very near to the airport. The room was clean and big enough for us family of 6. Breakfast was nice and check-in and check-out was smooth and easy.

My stay was great. The night staff were so friendly and great; the morning lady wasn’t that friendly, but altogether it was great. The only thing I would change is to put a fan in for summer as it’s very hot and a heater for winter.
